Additional Information

• Both properties are non-smoking although smoking is permitted in the grounds. Long lets are available during winter months. Prices are negotiable.

• Private heated salt water swimming pool 12 x 6 metres with steps leading down into 1m.25 shallow end with a slope to 2m.25 deep end. Security alarm system, secure enclosed garden with lockable safety gate. The pool is maintained every day to insure safety, security and cleanliness at all times. Our swimming pool is open from early May until the end of September.

Outside: Each property has a private garden with tables, chairs, sun loungers, and patio furniture and barbeque. Private parking for both of the properties. We have a large garden shared by ourselves with our beautiful salt water heated swimming pool. Also we have a trampoline, swings, football and table tennis. Bicycles are available on request.

Coast / Beaches: The Charente Maritime boasts the second sunniest region in France after the Cote D’Azur. The idyllic beaches of the south west coast and it’s islands offer glorious golden sands. The famous beaches of Royan, Saint Georges de Didonne and Mescher are only 30 mins away, where you can go sailing and wind surfing, to name but a few activities.

Golf: We have golf courses locally at Saintes, Cognac and Saint Palais sur Mer.

Travel: The airports of Bordeaux and La Rochelle are both an hours drive away. The ports of Saint Malo and Caen are both approximately 5 hours drive away.

Distances:
• The ancient town of Saintes is 20 mins away with it’s excellent shops and restaurants.
• The historic town of La Rochelle is an hour away. With it’s popular harbour side restaurants, bars and lively entertainment it is well worth a visit!
• Cognac & Jonzac are a short drive away where you can sample the delights of Cognac’s famous distilleries such as Hennessy & Martell, or for the more energetic you can swim & exercise in the newly built leisure centre (Les Antilles) in Jonzac.
• Saint Palais de Phiolin is very well situated to explore many places without having to drive too far. The beaches are a short drive away, the famous La Palmyre zoo is along the coast and open all year round. We have horse riding, karting and quad biking only 5 minutes away.
